North County Trail will extend across Marlboro and Lexington Township
The Pontius/Price Connector will be an east-west connection between Hartville and Quail Hollow State Park, Walborn and Deer Creek Reservoirs. The
route through scenic rural and agricultural countryside
will pass through New Baltimore and Limaville.
Quail Hollow has been a public use recreational facility for several decades. Management of Walborn and Deer Creek has been transferred to the Stark County Park District to be improved for recreational use. Connection of these resources will enhance their potential as aregional draw due to their scenic quality, and planned visitor amenities. The proposed trail will be suited for cyclists.
