Petros Lake Park - Perry Township Explore the diverse habitats of 1.2 mile Petros Lake Park, home to three hiking trails. The limestone surface of the Petros Lake Loop offers scenic overlooks of Petros Lake below. The ½ mile Bluebird trail is a great example of a prairie habitat where wildlife abound and the short hickory trail displays yet another ecosytem: the hickory forest.

David Fichtner Outdoor Education Center - Hartville The Fichtner Center, at 12833 Market Ave. N in Hartville, has two trails. A ½ mi trail winds through a wetland area while a .6 mi. trail traverses over wooded hills. Butterfly admirers will appreciate these trails as over 26 species have been spotted there! Interpretive markers will help you identify these species as well as other wildlife and trees along the trails. |
