These programs focus on a variety of topics, and each program is designed to be a memorable experience! Many programs are linked directly to the Ohio Academic Content Standards.

Wetland Investigation - Sippo Lake Park
Our signature Wetland Investigation will take you on an exciting adventure unique in Stark County. Sippo Lake Park is home to a variety of different habitats including a natural and man-made wetland as well as the lake itself. The Wetland Investigation program takes your students through each of these habitat types to better understand the value and diversity of the Sippo Lake ecosystem. Learn how a wetland changes with time, the importance of wetland management, and which plants and animals call this habitat home. Students will use the scientific method to form a hypothesis on water quality and conduct the appropriate investigations to confirm or deny their predictions.
